Questions about this skill
- What data do I need?
- Ideally monthly cash in and cash out for the last 6-12 months, plus the current balance and its date. Headline figures or a transactions CSV also work.
- Does it make up growth rates for the scenarios?
- No. The best and worst-case inputs come from you, and it asks if you have none. Any range it cites, such as fundraising lead time, is labeled approximate.
- Does it work with accrual accounting?
- Yes, but runway is a cash measure. If you give it an accrual P&L it will ask about collection timing and note the difference.
